Greetings Students & Families!
Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! I am excited to return to Warren Mott High School where I first began my educational career 14 years ago. This year I am teaching American Government & U.S. History. I am looking forward to bringing my passion for these two subject areas to life in our classroom as we create meaningful opportunities for students to learn, grow and increase their interest in these critical subject areas. As Americans, it is of critical importance to improve our understanding of the ways in which our government functions and how "we, the people" can become civically engaged to create a more perfect union. As human beings, it is of equally critical importance that we understand the history of our world - the events, people, places and things - that have shaped a world that you did not create but inherited. Only with more meaningful understandings of the evolution of the human condition over time and place can we better make sense of our world today and where we are heading tomorrow.
